Well, this is great. Another day, and no luck, a Gardevoir thought. She was tired of desperately trying to find someone to be with. All of the possible mates for her didn't want to be with her. There was nothing wrong with her. They just weren't interested.

Am I going to die alone? I really hope not. If only there was someone here for me, she thought.

After she thought that, she heard something moving nearby. Curious as to what it is, the Gardevoir goes to have a closer look.

She hides when she sees the human teen. He looked to be the average trainer, on the route to get somewhere. The human looked tired though, which was proven when he sat down to rest a bit.

A human? I should leave him alone. Wait, maybe... Am I really willing to do that to him? I don't want to be alone any longer though, the Gardevoir thought before she started to move towards him, trying to make as little sound as possible.

After walking for a long time, Tyler was exhausted when he sat down. He was still pretty far from the town he was heading to. He would have preferred flying, but this was a new town, so he couldn't. He decides to grab something quick to eat, then head out.

As he reached into his bag to get something, Tyler thought he heard something. He blows it off as just being a wild Pokemon running by, but soon he could tell it was getting closer to him. He decides to look now.

Tyler soon spotted the Gardevoir. He thought about catching her, since he didn't have one, but felt too tired for that, and din't feel like battling, so he decided to leave her alone.

Hello there, the Gardevoir said using telepathy.

"Well, hi," Tyler replied back.

What brings you here? she asked, seeming interested in him for some reason.

"Just traveling between towns," Tyler answered, confused about why she would want to know more about him.

Are you going to meet someone there, like a girlfriend? she asked, trying to act like she was just curious.

"Well, no. I would need a girlfriend for that to be a possibility," Tyler replied, feeling a little weird about that question.

The Gardevoir seemed happy when she heard that. So, what do you think of me?

Tyler found that question a little weird, but answered it anyways. "Well, you are very pretty."

The Gardevoir blushed after hearing that. Thank you. She went closer to Tyler afterwards.

"Um, what are you doing?" Tyler asked, feeling awkward.

Don't worry. This won't hurt, she told him before chanting her spell.

"What won't?" Tyler asks. His question was answered when he saw his arm turn green. The green spread to his hand, which fused with his arm. His fingers then became smaller, fusing together to 3 fingers. His lower arm grew thicker, and ending in a point at his elbow, while his upper arm became skinnier.

"Are you making me into a Gallade?" Tyler asks.

Yes. You see, you are the only one who was even a little interested in me. No one else wanted me, and that drove me crazy, she said, as the spell started to change Tyler's torso. 2 red horn grew from his chest and torso, and most of his torso become skinnier, with his hips grow outwards a bit instead. His other arm changed during this.

"No, stop this!" Tyler demanded, angry about her doing this to him.

I was afraid you would say that. That's why I added an extra part to the spell, she said before Tyler's legs start to get more and more pale. His feet became the lower part of his legs and became wider the further you go. His toes (which also fused into the same amount as his fingers, become taller and wider, but doesn't stick outwards as much anymore.

"What is this 'extra part?'" he asked, still angry, but a little worried as well.

"You'll see," the Gardevoir said out loud, since she knew Tyler would understand now. Spikes grew from where Tyler's ears used to be, having shrunk out of existence. His hair became green and moved to be between his eyes. The teal crest grew from in his head soon afterwards. His eyes grew bigger, with his irises becoming red.

"No, tell me now!" Tyler shouted at her. The shouted scared the Gardevoir a bit. He felt bad for scaring her actually.

"Sorry. It's just... you didn't care about how I felt," Tyler told her in a more calm way.

"I know. There was just no one who cared about me. You don't know how it feels to be rejected so many times," she said sadly, starting to cry.

Tyler was really angry, but, for some reason, was starting to hate seeing her like this. "Hey, just don't cry, please."

"Why? Everyone hates me. You, everyone else in the woods. The others don't even tell me why," she responded, crying more.

Tyler decided to try a new plan to calm her down. He went up to her and actually hugged her. "Please, stop crying. I don't really know you, but I'm sure that you are a nice person. If everyone hates you, which I highly doubt, it's because of a reason related to you, not them.

The Gardevoir looks up at him. "Really?" she asked, not as sad as she was before.

"Really. Now, calm down, please?" Tyler asked.

"Aren't you still mad at me? she asked.

"Well, yeah, I mean... I should be more angry actually," Tyler said, confused.

"You should. You should be shouting at me and leaving," she said, sounding sad again.

"I can't stand to see you sad weirdly... You caused me quite a bit of trouble though with... what was it? Wait, did I just forget the transformation for a second?" Tyler asked panickly.

"I think you might have..." the Gardevoir said, pretending not to know.

"You caused this, didn't you!" Tyler asked, still not as angry as he should be.

"Caused what?"

"The... with my... I knew there was something..." he said as he tried to sort things out.

"You must be hallucinating honey," she said to him.

"No, something did happened... something I hated..." Tyler told her, coming up with nothing though.

"Well, someone did try to attack me earlier. You weren't happy about that," she said in a convincing way.

"Hmm... I think I remember that. You're alright right?" he asked, now worried.

"Yeah, I am, thanks to you," the Gardevoir told him happily.

"Glad to hear it. Now, why don't we go get some berries to eat?" he suggested, no longer angry.

"That sounds great."

The two of them go to get some food together. This was only the first in many happy moments. There are times when she feels bad about putting the spell on him to change his mind, thinking he only loved her because of it. She noticed that he still had a lot of his personality traits though, like his short temper and laziness, so sometimes she had hope that he actually would like her normally.
